Question : Is Xyzal or zyrtec better for runny nose etc.? Also, what time of day is better to take the pill. I am assuming you should take only one pill a day. Since we have moved to the piedmont section of NC my alleges have been terrible. Every fall I get a sinus infection. I have a terrible case of RLS so some medications I cannot take.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Brief Answer:
Both work

Detailed Answer:
Hello ! Thank you for posting your question here .
I have gone through your concern and I understand.
Both Xyzal and zyrtec are a antihistamine group of drugs , by decreasing histamine levels in your body. Both work against the allergy , the different is that Xyzal is a new drug .
You take it 5-10mg once /day in the evening.
Since you have RLS and this drug decrease the histamine and may worsen your RLS , be aware when you use these (even you tried before
I would suggest some antihistamine nasal spry or Antihistamine / cortisone nasal spry.
Try to avoid contact with the allergen .

Hope I have answered your question!
Let me know if you have any further clarifications, I will be happy to help.
Take Care !
