Question : My friend has symptoms of Covid and he’s the person who helps me get around. Will a mask protect me from getting the Covid?

Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

If he has symptoms of covid19 you should both keep masks, keep the maximum of distance you can and avoid staying together as much as you can.
Keeping the masks are necessary but will not protect your 100% from getting covid19.
If you both keep masks you may get protected up to 90 %.
Also use hand sanitizer, clean bathroom with bleach each time you go and don't share utensils.
