Will Diarrhea Reduce After Discontinuing Hydrocodine?

Question : I have been drinking heavly and taking hydrocodine for injuries. I am off the meds and that has slowed down the drinking by a lot. Will the diarrea eventually go away?

Hi,

I am glad you are off narcotic pain killer. I don't prefer my patients to be on narcotics for fairly long period of time.

As far as diarrhea, it should eventually go away. Consider drinking plenty of water and some probiotics for few days. Eat healthy and maintain good hygiene. With this you should be alright .
