Brief Answer: there is a small increased risk Detailed Answer: HI, thanks for using healthcare magic Dipping tobacco is also sometimes referred to as moist stuff or smokeless tobacco. Though it causes an immediate increase in heart rate and blood pressure at the time of use, it is not usually associated with permanent changes such as those seen in persons who use regular cigarettes. It is also not associated with the biochemical and metabolic changes that can be seen with regular smokers. There were 2 medical studies (I can give you the names if you wish) found that persons who used this product did not have as significant cholesterol plaques as compared to regular smokers. it is the 'cholesterol plaques' that normally clog or block up the blood vessels, so these studies showed that there was less of a risk with the dipping tobacco. The risk is less but is still present. So using the product will increase the risk of heart disease and clogging blood vessels as compared to persons who neither smoke or use this product but the chance is less than compared to regular smokers. I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
