Question : So you should not increase Losrtan 50 to Losrtan 100?

Dose is modified as per response of usual dose of 50 mg once daily .

Thanks for query .

The usual dose of Losartan for an adult is 50 mg once daily to start with and increase or modify the dose depending upon the response in lowering blood pressure monitored over a period of a week .

There are other factors which required to be considered are
1) Associated Diabetes
2) Any other liver disease
3) Diabetic Nephropathy
etc .

Do not increase the dose yourself .

Consult your treating physician before modifying the dose .
