Question : I had an acl replacement 9 years ago and got arthrofibrosis recently did a small tear of my medial meniscus. More surgery not appropriate.. 1. I tested it out on Tennis court swelling and now pain in hip and Lower back.. is it worth pursuing platelet and stem cell therapy.. does it work?

Hello,

A small tear of medial meniscus can easily heal with rest and conservative treatment. Usually any surgery or active treatment is not needed. You need to avoid all the stressful activities. Use a knee brace for proper support to the knee.
A stressful exercise like tennis can aggravate the pain and swelling. Stem cell therapy is successful in healing small tears. But it is recommended only if the rest does not help.
