Question : My wife has four or five rashes on the left side of her face, I think they have become scabby since she scratches them. She becomes very defensive when I asked her about them.

Could be allergic rash, topical steroid & antihistaminic

Hi,

According to your complaints it could be an allergic rash.
If I was her treating doctor I would recommend her to apply topical steroid like cortisone cream on the affected areas twice daily and take antihistaminic like tablet Cetrizine 10 mg once daily at bedtime for few days.
