Brief Answer:
Few studies suggests in reducing Blood sugar levels.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for the query.

There are few studies which suggests that one or two pods of garlic crushed and swallowed on empty stomach with water or if felt too pungent to have then adding it in daily meals help in better controlling of blood sugar levels and also Diabetes induced cardiomyopathy.

You can go ahead with it as garlic also has anti bacterial, anti viral, anti fungal and anti oxidant properties. So overall it is beneficial, but do take your anti diabetic medications along with it.

Fenugreek seeds(commonly known as methi) too is considered to be beneficial in controlling blood sugar levels.

Hope this answers your query. If any further clarifications, will be happy to help you.

Regards.
