Thank you for your quick response. Ive got little red dots on both my arms and two on my face along with chest and spleen pain. Could that be hiv and my test at 12 &1/2 weeks just hasnt picked up the infection?

Brief Answer:
NO. These are not typical of HIV!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I will like to obtain an image for review. However, this is not typical of any HIV seroconversion. Your test says you are HIV negative and therefore you should know that you are. All these further worries simply make life hard for you of which there is nothing to get worried about.

I wish you well and hope to hear from you at your earliest convenience.

Hi Dr, I also got another blood test done at my Doctors (not sure which type of test was used) at 94 days post exposure and it was negative.
However, I have been reading online that there are people with B Cell disorders that do not create anitbodies and therefore tests do not pick up their infection.
What other tests can I have my doctor run to be completely sure that I am not infected?
Can I just have him run a CD 4 count?
I have had RNA PCR Qualitive tests done at 4 and 9 & !/2 weeks, and weekly Oraquick's from week 4 to 13 and 4th Gen (COMBO) weeks 4, 10 and 12 weeks all negative.
I really do believe that I do have HIV as I have these dots on my body, muscle pain, nerve tingling and my spleen area hurts.
Please tell me why would my tests be negative and yet I have been feeling these symptoms every day and it doesn't go away?

Brief Answer:
You need no further testing!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

There is no need fro further testing. You are HIV negative and that is a sure fact. What is bothersome is your mindsets and not the infection.

Thanks!

I wish I could believe you and the 94 day result but given that I dont know his status because he doesnt wanna get tested leaves me to believe that he is positive and that I will have to continue getting routine tests out through 6 months or a year given that circumstance and how my body feels.
Thanks for your assistance.

Brief Answer:
Even if he was positive, it doesn’t mean you would be positive!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Whether he’s positive of not doesn’t have a bearing on your tests. Your test show that you are negative and that is what you should be concerned about and not his status. Having exposure with an HIV positive persons doesn’t necessarily means you would be infected.

I wish you well.
