Brief Answer:
Zolpidem is better for primary insomnia.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Your symptoms seem to be pointing to primary insomnia, where there is no specific cause of insomnia.
Initially, non-drug treatments are advised, such as:
* Regular sleep habits (going to bed and waking up at a fixed time daily)
* Avoiding emails/social media prior to sleep
* Eating dinner about two hours prior to sleep time
* Avoiding shift duties etc.
If the above measures fail, then, Zolpidem tablet at bedtime is the best option.
I sincerely hope my reply has helped you. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:
You can stop Anxit Plus.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
You can stop Anxit Plus as you do not have symptoms of anxiety or depression.
Zolpidem dose is usually 5-10 mg taken at bedtime. In my patients, I usually start a dose of 5 mg once daily at night. If the response is not good, I increase it to 10 mg once daily.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi Doctor,
Thanks for your response, one more small query i am taking vitamin D3(10000 IU daily) supplement in morning daily, i hope it doesn't have any interaction with Zolpidem.
My vitamin D results in last year April was 42 ng/ml
and right now it is 16 ng ml.
so i am bit curious to know whether vitamin D3 levels fall so fast.
