Question : Hello, I am 6’4 320 pounds, also I am a male. Would a 1000-1200 calorie a day diet be sufficient with supplementing with vitamins.
Brief Answer:
Yes, but a bit too aggressive!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.
I understand the need to take aggressive measures to address your weight issues. The rather huge drop in calories may not turn out well. I always recommend progressive changes to achieve ultimate goal. In this line, I will encourage you to reduce daily calories by 200 from a maximum of 2000. This will allow you to reach this in about 4weeks. In addition to diet, regular exercise could help. Also, you may qualify for prescription medications as well be considered for surgery.
I hope this guides and helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me as need be.
