Would Blood In Stool, Black Stool Suggest If The Larger Polypoid Is Cancer It’s Likely Early?
Question: I want a second opinion re primarily a capsule report. I have had a series of tests upper, lower, MRI of abdomen only benign polyps removed. Mild gastritis.
Now a capsule test which you can read. But the concerning part to me is Polypoid mass slightly bleeding with partial circumferential. Sounds scary. What’s the percentage of it being cancer and can it be cured? Thanks
They are going to do an enteroscopy next week? Is it possible it’s benign. I did have a polyp in my duodenum removed from the recent endoscopy which was a Andenoma benign
Sorry but another question: if I’m not having blood in stool, black stool, no middle abdomen discomfort although mild in RUQ, no weight loss, no loss of appetite, etc would that suggest if the larger Polypoid is cancer it’s likely early?

Brief Answer:
99.9% non cancerous mass.
Detailed Answer:
Hi ,
See the exact answer can be given only after biopsy of is done.
But 99% of times duodenal ulcers even of 3-4cm size are benign in nature.
Secondly Right upper quadrant pain/discomfort can be due to acid peptic disorder or gastritis.
Do you have history of acid peptic disease also...In acid peptic disease duodenal masses are very common.
Rest assured it's not cancerous!
