Question : Hello my name is
I am almost 36 weeks pregnant. My husbands coworker was possibly exposed to someone with COVID-19. His office was closed to be disinfected according to CDC recommendation, has since reopened. My husband went to be tested for COVID-19 he came back with negative results. Though he has still quarantined away from me for now a week, because his job still does not have the results of his coworker. Which his coworker has not been back to work since the initial incident. Would it be safe for me to now be around my husband or should I continue to wait?

                                    Brief Answer:
Better to complete 14 days quarantine for him.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking ask a doctor service.
I have gone through your query. Your husband is just a secondary contact. Chances of getting positive is low. But if his Co worker gets positive then he can be primary contact. So better to wait for co-worker's result or complete 14 days quarantine period for your husband. This will keep you on safer side.
Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.
