Question : Y. Y mother is 84 yrs young and just had dentures put in and is now experiencing pain in her muscles and tendons in both arms and can not lift them.

I read your query and here is my advice.

I want to know some more details about her situation if she is having fever, if she is feeding well, is she having pain because of the dentures etc.

I don't find the pain in arms and joints much related to putting dentures. I suppose she is suffering any viral infection which give ache and pains all over body.
She may need to take antinflamatory drugs such advil or acetaminophen for pain in arms.
Also she may need to feed well and have lots of fluids in order to keep hydrated.
I think this situation may last 3 to 5 days and she will get better soon.
