Need more info
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask A Doctor"
I have gone through your query, and before I can guide you any further, I would like to know a few related details:
- Do you notice any protrusion of mass from the anal orifice while passing stool?
- Have you notice any fresh bleeding while passing stool?
- Does the mass go back while pushing it back?
- Any history of intake of medications?
Meanwhile, kindly do Sitz Bath, which is sitting in a large basin filled with warm water mixed with salt. This will help in reducing the inflammation and pain.
Kindly revert back with your details,
Regards

Hello again,
Thanks for writing back,
Sorry for the inadvertent delay in replying you,
From the details you have provided, you seem to have symptoms pertaining to external haemorrhoids, on which a blood clot may have been formed, which is causing the intense pain while passing stool. The clot will dissolve with time.
I would suggest you to do the following:
- Apply ANOVATE cream, this contains analgesic and anti-inflammatory along with a steroid. This comes with an applicator, you must apply it deep within.
- Continue the Sitz Bath, at least 2-3 times a day.
- Take Syrup LACTULOSE 15ml once at night daily, to prevent hard stools.
- Eat more of fiber rich food.
- Please make sure to visit a general surgeon, if you notice any case of XXXXXXX bleeding or if the symptoms persist for long.
I hope this helps,
Please feel free to discuss further,
Regards
