Been Having Trouble Sleeping. Everytime I Try To Fall Asleep,

Question: Been having trouble sleeping. Everytime I try to fall asleep, I wake up with my feet and hands burning, also my acid reflux flares up pretty bad. Went to the Er, they did a stomach ultra sound, checked my pancreas, checked my liver for celiac disease checked my kidneys urine sample was negative , stool sample was normal, all my labs were normal. They admitted me to the psychiatric ward so I could sleep since I was days without proper sleep and the ER was too noisy. They gave me 10 mg of Ambien and that put me to sleep around midnight. I woke up at 8:30 AM feeling way better the next day when I woke up they want to keep me there to make sure the medication wasn’t having any side effects but I’ve never had suicidal thoughts or anything like that. I just needed sleep they gave me a weeks worth of ambien for home. As soon as I got home and try to sleep the same night the Ambien put me to sleep but did not keep me asleep for some reason I felt safer in the emergency room tonight is the third night after the emergency room night and I still can’t stay asleep. I don’t drink smoke or never done any drugs and drink plenty of water. I’ve tried breathing techniques, relaxing videos on YouTube but nothing works. Also been eating little. Can anyone help me pls ??? I need to sleep normally again.

Brief Answer:
It seems to be anxiety disorder

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for using Healtrhcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

From the available description it appears to me that you are suffering with anxiety disorder. Generally ambien helps to some extent only and it is good idea to have benzodiazepines for some duration say one to four weeks along with SSRI group of medicines such as Lexapro, Prozac or Zoloft. SSRI group of medicines take time to show action and the Benzodiazepines are recommended for initial duration.

Considering the need fort medication I request you to see a psychiatrist in person without delay. In case it takes time to seek an appointment I recommend you to use Antihistamine medicines for sleep purpose till proper assistance is achieved. These medicines include Hydroxizine or Chlorpheniramine or Promethazine among others.
I hope this helps you.
Feel free to write back to me if you have more questions.
Thanks again.
