Question : can Eszoplicone cause worse insomnia as a side effect, have been on trial for 8 days and insomnia getting worse

I don’t think Eszopicone will worsen insomnia.

Eszopicone is a hypnotic drug belongs to Z drugs. The drug is a good drug for insomnia. In most cases this helps in sleep and doesn’t make insomnia worse.

IF your insomnia is persisting then you should talk
with your doctor to add some other drug or to increase the dose of drug. This could be due to worsening of symptoms and not due to Eszopicone.
