Hii. The empty nose syndrome is the condition when you feel nasal obstruction inspite of roomy wide nasal cavity space. There are many causes of it. It can take place without any Ent surgeon touching the turbinated. It may be nutritional deficiency,malnutrition,hormonal imbalance. The other causes of it are any chronic granulomatous diseases like tuberculosis, leprosy. Infection due to klebesiella ozanae can also cause atrophic rhinitis.It may be due to endocrinal imbalance,increased sympathetic activity or result of any malignancy.
