Question : can you get sick from bad potatoe. when i ate it it had a metalic taste and made my mouth tingly. now i have a stomach ache

The symptoms and signs are likely suggestive of allergic response to potato. Generally potatoes have been regarded as one of the least allergenic food substances, but glycoproteins and alkaloids contained in them can rarely cause allergic reaction in susceptible individuals. Sometimes acid reflux provoked by potatoes can mimic similar symptoms.
As of now you can take over the counter available antacids like omeprazole for symptomatic relief. As the symptoms are mild we can wait few days for spontaneous resolution of the symptoms.
