Question: continued sneezing and cold ,its not going from last 20 days,i have lost weight 5 kgs as cold is not going and feeling low and feverish all time,pls suggest reports to do whether it is climatic or dust issue,i am also diabitic,type 2 on insuling

I am Dr Ajeet XXXXXXX
I have gone through your query and here is my opinion.
As you are a diabetic,infection persists in your body for longer periods than in the population with normal immunology.
A fever,coryzal symptoms and cough might be due to a respiratory tract infection or an allergic reaction complicated by a superadded infection.
An unintended weight loss of greater than 4.5 kg in a period of 6 to 12 months is considered as significant and also points towards a infective pathology.
Please go for your blood work which includes CBC and total eosinophil counts.
Sputum culture,sputum AFB,Throat swab for H1N1,X ray chest and x ray paranasal sinus are also indicated.
HbA1c would reflect the status of blood sugar control in past months and need for revision of insulin doses,if any.

Further management depends on the reports procured.
