Question : dear sir
I have a health reports of my wife ie USGABDOMEN AND PELVIS and thyroid profile test...
I need a clear n detail explanation about the reports

Yes I saw the reports and I would like to tell you that her Thyroid function test is absolutely normal.

Regarding her abdominal ultrasound there is a small stone in the right side which is not causing any kind of obstruction or blockage in the passage of urine.

Her ovaries are polycystic which means there are many small small cysts like swellings. It’s a very common condition these days and usually cause problem in conceiving or getting pregnant.

It’s basically a abnormality in the shape of the body cavity of the uterus. It could be complete or partial in type. There is a kind or partition wall coming out from the roof of the body cavity of the uterus there by dividing it into two either partially or completely.

I would like to suggest you to get a Transvaginal ultrasound (TVS) done from a good centre.

The reason why am advising that is because it’s a better imaging test than abdominal ultrasound for reproductive issues.

As such there is no significant health issues and there is nothing to worry but yes later when you guys will plan for a baby that time conceiving can b a bit difficult.

No it’s an investigation or test to rule out the problem not a treatment. If same problem get confirmed in this test then I would like to suggest you to personally take your wife to a good gynaecologist for proper evaluation and further treatment plans.
