Brief Answer:
No interaction between sertraline and zopiclone

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us. I can understand your concern.

No need to worry. There is no drug interactions between between sertraline and zopiclone. Taking zopiclone and sertraline together will not affect efficacy and effects of sertraline. You can continue the same under your doctor's guidance.

Note: as per my knowledge zopiclone is useful for sleep rather than anxiety. It is advisable to stop the same gradually.

Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.

Brief Answer:
1-3 weeks

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for follow up.

As such sertraline will show its some effects within 1-3 weeks. However considering your long history 25 mg would not be sufficient dose as per my opinion. You need at least 50 mg. Even after 2 weeks if you do not feel noticeable improvement, ask your doctor to increase the dose.

Take care.

Thankyou is sertraline do u think the best choice for anxiety? I was also considering mitrazapine which in you opinion is best for anxiety?

Brief Answer:
I prefer paroxetine

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Sertraline is good medicine for anxiety. My personal best choice of medicine for anxiety is paroxetine. Mirtazapine is also good medicine. Mirtazapine causes sedation as a side effect so it should be taken at night. It may also cause increase in blood pressure. Overall sertraline and mirtazapine both are good for anxiety but sertaline has less side effects.

Hope you got the answer.
