Question : fall july 218, dislocated radius, radial head broke off, humorous chipped in many places, 2 surgeries done, titanium radial head replacement done, and external fixature implanted for 6 weeks. Told "no nerve damage". Next visit.. You have radial and ulnar nerve damage. next visit you are not able to extend your arm or turn you hand over because you are being resistant.. next visit, you wont be able to have full ROM unless you use corrective braces. next visit.. you may be mechanically blocked by radial head replacement, next visit.. you are mechanically blocked by radial head, it was only temporary so your bones would heal. surgery done on last Friday.. did not come o see me after. told my husband I now had full ROM. 5 days have now gone by.. am unable still to turn right hand palm up, nor can I fully extend my arm. I no longer believe a word that comes out of this Doctor's mouth. need another opinion please thank you

Brief Answer:
Nerve injury is less likely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
If there was any radial or ulnar nerve damage then you would have experienced a sensory loss also. If there was no loss of sensations then any nerve injury is not likely.
The restriction of movement can be related to radial head- mechanical blockage. This can be usually corrected with proper physiotherapy. In your case since it was persistent, a surgery has been done to fix this. Kindly upload the post-op X-rays for a further evaluation. You can also get a NCV done to check that the nerves are intact or not. In case the nerves are intact then you will gradually regain the full ROM after physiotherapy.
I hope this answers your query.
