Question : fell recently hit head and neck. Having pain in neck and upper back, feels like there is net over my ear and neck.

I have read your query and here is my advice.

In my opinion, the symptoms that you refer, point towards muscular problems such as strain after trauma.

Besides heat and cold, using a soft cervical collar and ibuprofen for few days should help improve your condition.

If the symptoms persist more than a week after such measures, pinched nerve(s) should be considered and evaluated further.

An MRI of your cervical spine may be needed in such scenario.
