Hi....
Welcome to "Ask a Doctor"service.
I am Dr Ajeet XXXXXXX
I have gone through your query and here is my opinion.
As per your symptomatology,it might be due to a sinus infection or a vascular headache overriding an acute throat infection.
You can take over the counter analgesics like Acetaminophen (Tylenol) and Ibuprofen (Advil) for pain relief.
Such patients are prescribed an antibiotic course, usually Amoxicillin 500 mg thrice a day.
You can do hot saline gargles and steam inhalation for sore throat.
Avoid alcohol,tobacco and caffeine.
Avoid eye strain and take rest in a dark room.
If the symptoms do not improve, please visit your clinician for complete evaluation and clinical examination.
Hope that I have answered your query.
Stay healthy and stay blessed.
Regards.
