Question : for the past few months I have a pain in the left side of my chest near the centre I can press on the area. the pain is sharp last a few seconds at a time on and off trough out the day. I suffer from anxiety. high blood pressure , high cholesterol. I am on medication for both and it's under control for the past 10 years

In my opinion, you should get at least ECG and 2D echo done to rule out heart diseases.
If both these are normal then no need to worry about heart diseases.
