Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX Bartholomew,
Thanks for the query.I understand your concern.
Your symptoms & IgG / IgM levels for mycoplasma pneumoniae...indicate past infection with same Bactria & present infection with same bacteria ..
The pathogen is known to cause a prolonged illness &result in walking pneumonia..The symptoms are evident in the evenings due to stress of day activities..still I would suggest to exclude possibility of
Additional bacteria to cause this typical evening rise of temperature. This can be done by culture &sensitivity test of the sputum /throat swab followed by specific antibiotic to manage the infection.
Drug resistance is another problem faced in treatment of the bacteria...This also needs to be understood & find a suitable antibiotic by same pathological test.
Uncontrolled Diabetes, if present can cause a prolonged illness.Maitain normal blood sugar with diet &medicines becomes necessary in such a case.
Proper medication &management of symptoms along with healthy life style helps invite.
I hope that answers your problem.Any follow up query is welcome.
Thanks.

Yes, I would recommend the same.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX bartholomew,
Thank you for your follow up query.
Mycoplasma pneumonae is known to cause atypical type of pneumonia (without severe symptoms) which shows flue like symptoms over a long period with weakness .
You have same type of symptoms over 2weeks time with presence of both IgG &IgM antibodies suggest infection with mycoplasma pneumonae .
You do not have appreciable results with antibiotic taken before...that suggests either bacterial resistance to the antibiotic taken or raised blood sugar level.
Due to these conditions I would suggest re-evaluation of your health ...in order to get suitable drug regime to give you relief.
I hope, that answers your query.Any follow up query is welcome.
Thanks.
