Question: good evening sir,
I am 37 years old. I have started light running since last 10 days after so many years. Initial one week was very good and there wasn't any problem. But from Friday morning my legs are paining including knees. The pain is not very high but it is continuous.
I am a vegetarian and stopped taking milk also. But banana is in my regular diet. I don't have any problem of constipation also.
Please suggest.

Brief Answer:
Need monitoring...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

The described pain is more likely related to strain probably due to the new exercise. If the pain is not severe and is tolerable, I don't feel the need to start any medications. Avoid the exercise for a day or two and see if you feel better. If the problem persists despite two days of stopping exercise, I will suggest visiting a doctor to check for vascular / soft tissue diseases.

Since you are a vegetarian and stopped milk, please check your vitamin b12, vitamin D as well as calcium levels. If low, supplements may need to be started.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Regards
