Question : had a 12mm sessile serrated adenoma removed from the right side of my colon. when should a follow up colonoscopy be performed .

A sessile mass is an immobile one and an adenoma is a non-cancerous tumor. However, since most adenomas do not show any cancerous transformation, you are unlikely to need rapid follow-ups colonoscopies.

Your requirement of follow up colonoscopy would be determined by your colonic issues (the problems you have). If you do not have any specific problems, maybe follow up in a couple of years should be fine.
