Brief Answer:
post inflammatory granules deposition.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor services.
I have read your query with attached foot image and here is my advise.

* As per my surgical experience, multiple black dots indicate post
inflammatory skin changes in terms of possible granules deposition.

Kindly provide me further details so that I can answer your query completely.

1. Any history of recent trauma to foot ?
2. Duration of current issue and progress since then ?
3. History of exposure to sea water, sand walking on bare foot ?
4. Associated itching, discharge of any fluid from the area ?
5. History of diabetes ?

Awaiting for your response.
Thank you.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
scrapping and biopsy or laser removal recommended.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the details.

* Seems likely to be due to unresolved past fungal infection, in which due to
overlying skin covering there is no discharge or pain, but the granules of
black dots surely suggest the same.

* Though it is not dangerous at present, it is not normal and can prove
problems in future and hence definite management is recommended for
sure.

* Usually drug therapy does not work over chronic lesion of long period of
time, and so best management guideline is scrapping and biopsy ( to
confirm the pathology status of the lesion ) or laser removal after proper
work up and discussion with expert dermatologist.

Wish you great recovery.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
follow up .

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the follow up.

* Clinically does not sound to be cancer, so do not panic for the same at
present.

Definite therapy is must to avoid future chances of cancer development.
Removal is simple OPD based procedure taking hardly 10 minutes and you get the perfect pathology of diagnosis.

Have a stress free day.
