Question : hello, I asked this question to a doctor previously, but, would just like to get a little bit more feedback, if possible.
thank you very much for your time.
my question: I recently had sex with a woman. two weeks prior, I had my wisdom teeth taken out. before having intercourse, I checked my mouth several times to make sure that there was no bleeding. my only concern: during the course of intercourse, I applied a small amount of saliva to my hand. I then administered that saliva to the womans vagina. from what I have read, I would have to have some sort of std for this to be an issue, but I would like to get some professional feedback/assurance/advice.

Brief Answer:
No chance of transmitting STD
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query.
Since you had your wisdom tooth removed 2 weeks ago and there was no bleeding or sores in the oral cavity, I don’t think that there are any chances of transmitting STD through saliva.
You need to have blood mixed with saliva or any open wound or sore in the oral cavity to transmit infection through saliva.
Don’t worry about it.
