Question : hello I have a painful black/purple lump just outside my rectum like on the rim. it hurts to move and is difficult to evacuate my bowels. I've had problems in the past like this but nothing this painful In the past it would stop after a few days but this time it's hard to poop and has been more persistent of a problem. I'm currently using medicated wipes after bowel movements and have been putting hemroid ointment on the area. I'm a 26 year old Male I have pictures of the area if you want them also btw

Thanks for uploading the picture.
You have thrombosed external hemorrhoids. You have a visible blood clot.
Thrombosed external hemorrhoids are usually very painful.

In addition to taking high fiber diet, fiber supplements and lot of fluids to ease bowel movements, the following should be done -
1. Sitz bath
2. Tylenol/Advil/Aleve for pain relief
3. Incision and evacuation of the clot/ Hemorrhoidectomy

For the 3rd one, you need to consult your doctor.
