Question : hello, I have white spots on my body like on neck, back and arms. I am having this skin issue since very long time. I used to apply solution but that was temporary .

Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have gone through your query and viewed the image.

You seem to have pityriasis versicolor which is a yeast infection and presents as brown, finely scaling patches and light colored spots on neck,, shoulders, arms, chest and back. I suggest you to use a topical antifungal e.g oxiconazole nitrate cream or lotion (Zoderm e cream), twice daily for 2 weeks. In addition I suggest you to take a single tablet of fluconazole 400mg. You must also expose the affected skin with white patches to 5-10 minutes of sun.
