Question: hello. couple weeks ago, I was working in severe dust conditions for a couple days straight. Felt as though I had dirt in my eyes. Two weeks later, one eye still feels the same way. Also feels continually dry. Wife has inspected eye with magnifying glass, nothing foreign visible at all. Using Visine continually, only helps somewhat. Also, issue disappears at night, resumes soon after waking.

Brief Answer:
Possible allergic conjunctivitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir

I can certainly understand your concern

I have worked through your attached query in detail

As per your symptoms, the possibility of allergic conjunctivitis is very high.

Along with lubricant eye drops it's advisable to take topical Antiallergic eye drops to observe symptomatic improvement.

I generally prescribe Olopatadine rye drops to my patients with such symptoms.

Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe these medications to improve your symptoms

Post your further questions if any.
Thank you
