You may first try a ketoconazole based shampoo e.g Nizoral shampoo. Use it daily or on alternate days for few days. If it still isn't gone, you may use a moderately potent topical steroid lotion e.g mometasone furoate 0.1% lotion at night on scalp under guidance of dermatologist.
