I read your query and here is my advice.

We usually prescribe nizoral shampoo ( ketoconazole ) to treat dandruff.
People usually try the shampoos found in supermarket containing green tea,zinc, selenium or coal tar. If none of them work you can try nizoral shampoo.
Use it every day or as often as you wash your hair.
Let it for 5 minutes before rinsing it.
You can find nizoral shampoo in pharmacy over the counter.
