Question: Hello Doctor,
I am being disturbed by erectile disfunctioning as well as early premature ejaculation. I have tried over the counter sildanafil tablets upto 100 mg. Over a period of time, that has not been very effective.
I seem to have lost interest in Sexual intercourse. This has led to mental disturbances between me and my wife.

3. Are you a smoker?
4. What about your drinking habits? or other drug habits?
5. Are you having occasional early morning erections?
6. Have you children?
7. Are you a diabetic?'
8. Are you on any regular drugs for any other condition?
9. What was your sexual frequency before you started with these problems? Monthly or weekly how many times?
Afterwards we can discuss the problem. Here in the management of sexual dysfunction, drugs play a minor role only.

It seems that you have psychosexual dysfunction only.
Your age is 39. You cannot expect your sexual function as that during your teen age and early twenties. Moreover sexual function will be better during early years after marriage due to overwhelming excitement when you touched your partner.
Sex is not only in between two thighs, but remains mainly in between two ears - That is in your mind. That is when you get stimulated by your wife's intimacy through touching, seeing, fantasizing and hearing. When this intensity of the stimulation goes down in years ( due to Monotony), you might not get adequate erections. If you feel that I am not sexually adequate, and try to have sex, you can't concentrate on sex or wife's body, instead thinking about your inadequacy and the ways to improve which leads your erectile function poor. This will lead to pressure of performance which worsens further you sexual function.
I cannot prescribe medicine online. You consult a good sexual medicine specialist nearby and cleared your doubts. Along with medicine and guidance you will become normal. Don't expect it to be cured by online discussion.
