Brief Answer:
Hives / Acute Urticaria
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have gone through your query and noted your concern.
You seem to have Hives/Urticaria - Itchy, wheals with flare. Alcohol is a well known trigger of Hives. I suggest you to take an oral antihistamine e.g cetirizine 10mg tablet once a day for a few days. Topically you may use a soothing lotion e.g calamine lotion to calm down the rashes.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance.

thank you so much for your answer :) Im also wondering, for the last few months Ive had problems with my elbows. I have pain on movement, trouble straightening them with out pain. Also when I put pressure on my hands my elbows give way. just wondering if this could be an osteoarthritis thing as I have mild Osteoarthritis in my hips? would it be worth getting a bone scan as my mother has osteoporosis? no swelling in the elbows either. Thank you
Brief Answer:
Regarding elbow pain
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
This could be a joint related issue, especially if it is bilateral. I suggest you to take an oral Vitamin D supplement ( 60000 IU every week of Vitamin D3) and get evaluated by a orthopaedician and an X ray before considering a bone scan. I would also suggest a few blood tests (RA factor and ANA)
Take care.
