Question : hello . i have a question . lately i have been having strong odor coming from my belly button. along with clear doscharge that dries around it . what may that be ?

Hi
Discharge from the Umbilicus can be due.to.infection beneath the Umbilicus, Umbilical granuloma etc.
Umbilicus should be carefully examined for any swelling.
Ultrasound Abdomen will give a clue.
I operated few patients with Umbilical discharge.There was pus pocket beneath the Umbilicus.I removed the pus along with Umbilicus to prevent recurrence.
Please consult a Surgeon and proceed further
