Hi,
I am Dr. Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.
When was your last period?
As the embryo is getting implanted into the uterus, some of them do experience slight spotting and cramps. This is normal.
If the cramps increase/or bleeding increases, you need to see a doctor.
If you are more than five weeks pregnant, then an ultrasound can be done.
If you have further concerns I will be happy to answer.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
If your last period was on December 18th, then it is too early to see anything on the ultrasound. If the bleeding is mild, it is most likely implantation bleeding, which is a normal phenomenon.
If the bleeding/pain increases, you need to see a doctor.
You need to start taking Folic acid tablets daily if you have not started yet.
If you have further concerns I will be happy to answer.
