Brief Answer:
Lower limit BP...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Blood pressure of 85/58mm Hg is slight under limits. Low blood pressure may be related to low heart rate. However it shouldn't be taken lightly especially when you a bad cough with mucous. Is he running fever?

If there are no other symptoms and if he has no dizziness then I suggest drinking fluids and recheck up of BP after an hour. If the problem remains / worsens, it would be worthwhile to get this checked at the earliest. Perhaps ER visit may be more appropriate.

Hope this helps. Apologies for the later reply...

Regards
