Question: hi Doctor, My father is 61 years old and has been suffering from Thyroid, Diabetes, High BP since almost 10 years now. He has recently been diagnosed with CKD as well. I have attached his Doctor's latest prescription. He used to have temporary swelling in legs due to prolonged standing or sitting. But for last one month, we have observed a constant swelling in his right foot. The skin of both of his legs (from a little top of ankle till the fingers) is darkening and looks like as if it is burnt. I have attached the picture of this legs. This discoloration has started few years back but it is more prominent since last 1 month. What could be the reason of the darkening of leg' skin ? He had his creatinine , protien level checked last month and Creatinine was around 2.4 while Protein was way too higher than normal. Hence his doctor had replaced Jardiance with Ondero last month. Please suggest if you find anything alarming. Let me know in case you need additional details. Thanks
