Question : hi I have been on paxil 40mg for about 9 years with no anxiety that I can remember . I started having panic attacks after a hernia operation and my doctor upped my doze to 50mg 4days ago. my anxiety has increased a bit and I am wondering how long before the new dozeage starts to work

could I take diazepam 2mg 3 times a day to help with the anxiety till the paxil starts to work . my doctor prescribed this and a beta blocker bedranol 80mg sr .should I take beta blocker and diazepam or just diazepam I am a little worried about addiction

paroxetine not working yet and I have taking beta blocker this morning at 6.30am and 1mg diazepam at 8,30 am and 1mg diazepam at 11.30 am also 2mg diazepam at 6pm and I am still anxious I will take 50mg paroxetine at 10pm before bedtime ( 8 days at 50mg) could I take another 2mg diazepam at 10pm also to help me sleep .I never slept much last night
