Question : hi I threw a bag away down the chute and I remember had my shorts a card and a sunglasses case to my knowledge i took everything out of the bag to my thinking now I realized this like a few minutes later now you think there was anything else in that bag or go recheck if something was left I have confidence I took everything out but something bugging me? what do you think remember its down the garbage chute stay strong?

and the thing is if i ripped it in my appartment I would of thought about it cause it would a fell if something was in there So you think I took everything out im not stressing im staying relaxed here

Hi,

My answers to your questions are as follows:

1. If you are not sure about the contents in the bag and if it had anything there, you may as well recheck it. As long as you are fit and healthy you should be ok. Make sure you wash thoroughly with antiseptic agents and soap later.

2. Retinal detachment cause vision impairment and floaters. Can you explain the eye problems? Dry eye cause pain, light intolerance and or blurring of vision. And usually dry eye have an insidious presentation and not acute.

No, detached retina can't be felt. Patients complain about vision loss with floaters. There is no pain or any other sense associated with retinal detachment.

From what I understand, you feel (confidentially) that all contents of the bag were taken out and the bag was thrown out through the chute. But something is worrying you. Can you explain clearly what is worrying you?
Are you worried if you left anything in the bag? If so, what's stopping you to go down and recheck the bag?
Are you worried if you will be contaminated or exposed to an infection? Are you worried if that will affect vision?

I realize you have OCD and the bag is troubling you. The following are my answers to a few of your questions:

1. If all the necessary items you are aware off is with you now, then perhaps the bag was empty. But if you aren't satisfied, you may as well go down and check it. There is no real health harms jf you check the trash bag now.

2. No, watching a bright screen doesn't lead to retinal detachment. Similarly eating too fast doesn't cause stroke.

3. Rest of your posts is unclear to me. Sorry about that.

Was going around at my job at night and saw cup on the table believe to be a cup and believe to be a straw not certain should of kept it when I got home but no my phone was dead so trying to think now staying calm here u think it was a clear plastic straw honestly or an instrument

Unless that was a surgical needle recently used at a hospital or addicts, instruments are relatively safe.

HIV is a very fragile virus and doesn't remain live for more than minutes in external environment. So any of the instruments if it was indeed present, that shouldn't pose risks of HIV infection. So don't be worried about it.
