Question : hi! I tried to clean my ear yesterday with a cotton swab. Afterwards I found that my hearing became very muffled. Is it possible that I may have pushed wax further into my ear? How can I regain my hearing? Should I buy an over the counter ear drop? Thanks so much.

Hii. Don't guess anything. Please consult an Ent surgeon and get your checked. If your ear have wax then only you should put ear drops. If this is due to allergic rhinitis you need to give fluticasone nasal spray and take steam inhalation. If there is ear infection then you need to put ear drop. So don't guess and consult an Ent surgeon.
