Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

1. Your current medication is fine. I would add a medicated gargle / oral rinse such as Betadine. Take adequate hydration and rest.

2. There are many patients with severe viral fevers at this time. Any recent history of travel or getting drenched in the rain?

3. However, given your symptoms you should get a complete blood count and tests to rule out dengue and malaria. A throat swab test will also help.

4. If these tests are negative, routine treatment of symptoms will suffice.

5. Get yourself examined by a local physician if the symptoms are not subsiding.

I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.

Regards.
