Question : hi doctor, I'm 5 months pregnant (week 23) and crying often. I get easily offended and become very angry.. and end up crying coz I'm not in control and I avoid shouting back or reacting. this leads to me feeling sleepy and not wanting to continue my work or chores. it's been my nature that I lose patience and weep it out, but it has increased offlate. please help.

Brief Answer:
Psychological Counselling recommended...

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service...
I've gone through your query in detail...

Well, at this outset, it's only recommended that you should get proper counseling under a Psychologist/Psychiatrist on a regular basis...This is not something which can be cured with just some medications, so, a cumulated approach of supportive family members, friends as well as the regular supervision of the Psychologist/Psychiatrist is recommended in this scenario...

Nothing to worry, but don't delay it any longer and simply go ahead with it...Additionally, regular 30min of meditation, breathing exercises in the morning, and at night will be helpful...

Take Care
Kind Regards
