Cold and cough since few days could be a bacteria or an allergy. Viruses usually get better in few days. Or it maybe sequelae of a virus.
Kindly send me details of your symptoms so that I can advise better. Do you have fever? How much fever? Any runny nose, sneezing, etc?
You can get yourself evaluated by ENT surgeon to determine cause.
