Question : hi, i read a story about a lady who had basal cell carcinoma in the same spot around near her nose and im wondering if this could be something like that, I've had this spot for ages since I can remember. it hasn't changed in size or apperance though. thank you

Hi

Since the spot in your nose has not changed in size and appearance I do not think you are having basal cell carcinoma.

If the spot increases in size and becomes inflamed with pain then you need to do a biopsy test to rule out malignancy
