Hi I Take 40mg Propranalol In The Mornings But Have

Question: hi i take 40mg propranalol in the mornings but have noticed that by the evening my pulse is anywhere from 47-50. i have been loosing weight and eating healthy. also getting a few thuds in my throat at rest of an evening too for the past 2 nights. why could this be. thanks
